English Wine Week 2011

English Wine Week will be running from the 28th May to 5th June and will celebrate all things about English wine. Here in Cornwall we have some fabulous vineyards who’ll be participating in the wine week.
The reknowned Camel Valley Vineyard will be holding a tour and wine tasting evening on the 30th May with a lovely barbecue prepared by Michelin starred chef, Nathan Outlaw.
In the far west of Cornwall, near Penzance, is Polgoon and they’re offering free tours and tasting of their wines and new cider all through the week.
Very local to Lobbs Farm Shop is Bosue Vineyard and on the 30th May they’re holding an open day with all entry proceeds donated to the Merlin Project ( Cornwall Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre). The Vineyard is open from 11am until 7pm and costs £4.00 per adult, under 18s are free (but alas no wine for the youngsters!)

Cheers!
